Directory View
The Directory View is a single place to see the people connected to your Space alongside your saved bookmarks. It collects members, guests, external reviewers, and links so you can find a contact or a resource without leaving your workspace.
What It Shows
Each row in the Directory is an entry with a type:
- Member — internal team members with full workspace access.
- Guest — limited-access collaborators.
- Reviewer — external people who have commented via public review links.
- Bookmark — a saved link to an external resource.
- Other — any contact you add manually (e.g., a freelancer or client).
People entries can carry details like email, phone, notes, and an icon. Bookmark entries hold a title and URL.
Working in the Directory
- Group by: Organize entries by type/role, by team, or leave them ungrouped.
- Filter & search: Narrow the list with the same filter pipeline used across other views, or search by name.
- Add entries: Create a new contact or bookmark directly in the view.
- Bulk actions: Select multiple entries to update or remove them together.
Bookmark Chips in the Header
Directory groups double as the bookmark chips that sit next to your view tabs in the Space header, so a curated set of links or contacts is always one click away. Every Space ships with a default Bookmarks chip, and you can add more groups from the header’s + menu.
- A group pinned to the header appears as a chip; unpinning it removes the chip but keeps the group in the Directory.
- Chips are reorderable and behave like tabs — right-click to rename, change the icon, recolor, show/hide the name, or delete.
- Because chips are backed by Directory groups, anything you add to a chip shows up here, and edits in either place stay in sync. See Bookmark Chips.
Sharing
Like project views, a Directory tab can be shared as a public link from the tab’s right-click menu — useful for handing a client a contact sheet or a curated set of resources. See Tab View Sharing.
[!NOTE] Reviewers appear in the Directory automatically once they leave feedback through a review link. They do not occupy a member or guest seat.
