Billing & Subscriptions

Cuevue uses an account-level subscription for Space Owners. One subscription covers all Spaces you own.

Manage Your Subscription

1. Open Account Settings → Billing to manage your plan and payment method.

From account billing you can:

• Upgrade or downgrade plans.
• Open the Stripe portal for payment method/invoice updates.
• Apply new limits across all owned Spaces.

Plan Limits (Current)

[!NOTE] Paid plans use per-member pricing. Add or remove members at any time — your subscription quantity adjusts automatically. For the full feature-by-feature comparison (guest reviewers, AI assists, integrations, and more), open Account Settings → Billing.

Guests vs Members

• Members (Owner/Admin/Member): Full internal workspace access. Seats are managed through billing.
• Guest Members: Space members with limited access — they can only edit status, description, and title on projects. Free plans allow 2 guests, Pro allows 5, and Studio allows unlimited guests.
• Review Links: Unlimited external sharing links for any version. Reviewers access content via a public link (optionally password-protected) and do not consume member or guest seats.

Plan Changes

Upgrades

• Apply immediately after checkout succeeds.
• New limits become available as soon as subscription status updates.
• Plan changes are prorated immediately by Stripe. If you also switch billing interval (monthly ↔ yearly), Stripe may apply a credit/charge adjustment based on time remaining in your current cycle.

Cancelling Your Subscription

• Open Stripe/billing management from Account Settings → Billing.
• Cancel the active subscription.
• Existing access remains until the current billing period ends.

Downgrades

• Managed through Stripe portal flows.
• Access/limits follow your subscription status and billing period state.
• Downgrading does not delete data, but creation of new items can be blocked when limits are exceeded.

[!IMPORTANT] Subscription changes are different from deleting your account. Account deletion removes your user identity; plan changes do not.

Credit Add-Ons

If you need more transcription minutes, AI credits, or storage beyond what your plan includes, you can add packs without changing your plan tier.

How It Works

1. Open Account Settings → Billing.
2. In the Add-Ons section, select the pack you want.
3. Complete checkout via Stripe.
4. The extra allowance is added to your account immediately.

Recurring add-on packs renew with your billing cycle and don’t roll unused amounts over to the next period.

[!TIP] If you regularly exceed your plan’s limits, consider upgrading to the next tier instead of purchasing add-ons — it may be more cost-effective.

Usage Enforcement

Cuevue enforces limits for:

• Project creation
• Member and guest member invitations
• AI generations per month (base plan + any purchased add-ons)
• Transcription minutes (base plan + any purchased add-ons)
• Storage per space

When you hit a limit, Cuevue shows a clear error with upgrade guidance in-context (for example, from the transcription panel, AI generation dialog, upload area, or billing page).

Some integrations are only available on paid plans:

If you try to use a gated integration on a lower plan, Cuevue will prompt you to upgrade with a clear explanation of what’s available on each tier.
