Core Concepts
Cuevue mirrors professional media production workflows. Understanding the core entities will help you navigate, plan, and review with confidence.
The Hierarchy
Cuevue follows a simple hierarchy that keeps work organized and searchable:
- Spaces: The highest level of organization. A Space usually represents a client, show, or team. Settings, members, and billing live here.
- Projects (Episodes): The primary unit of work in a Space, representing a deliverable (e.g., “Season 2 Episode 4”).
- Tasks: The granular steps required to complete a Project (e.g., “Mix audio”, “Approve script”).
Media & Documentation
Beyond the core hierarchy, Cuevue provides specialized tools for media management and knowledge capture:
- Versions & Media: Projects are iterative. Upload multiple versions of an audio or video file to track progress over time.
- Docs & Notes: A block-based editor for production specs, scripts, and meeting notes tied to Spaces and Projects.
[!TIP] Each Space can customize the names of these concepts. If your “Projects” are called “Episodes”, update this in your Space Settings.
