Agenda View
The Agenda View is a timeline-style overview for scheduling work across days. It emphasizes short-term planning and makes it easy to see tasks stacked within their groups. While the Calendar shows a month overview, the Agenda focuses on day-level scheduling.
Timeline Overview
The view displays tasks in a horizontal day grid with:
- Day Columns: Each column represents a single day, with the day name and number shown in the header.
- Today Highlight: The current day is highlighted in indigo.
- Group Lanes: Tasks are grouped by status, assignee, or a custom dropdown field.
- Stacked Bars: Tasks appear stacked within each group, not one lane per task. Bars can span multiple days, and time labels appear on bars if a task has exact times.
Interaction & Scheduling
- Drag & Resize: Drag bars horizontally to reschedule. Drag the edges to resize multi-day spans.
- Range Create/Attach: Click a day to create a task, or click-drag to set a range before creating or attaching an unscheduled task.
- Smart Zooming: Use Ctrl/Cmd + scroll wheel to zoom day density.
- View Presets: Switch between Week, 2 Weeks, Month, or “All Scheduled” ranges.
Grouping Logic
The Agenda supports grouping for context and bulk scheduling:
- Group by Status: Rows reflect each status (e.g., “In Progress”, “To Do”).
- Group by Assignee: Rows reflect who owns the task.
- Group by Custom Field: Rows reflect values from any custom dropdown field.
- No Grouping: All tasks appear in a single “All Tasks” row.
Features
- Unscheduled Sidebar: Collapsed by default; expand to see tasks without dates and drag them onto the timeline.
- Me Mode: Filter to only tasks assigned to you.
- Search: Filter tasks by name.
