Account Setup & Sign In

Getting started with Cuevue takes only a minute. Create an account or accept an invite, then spin up your first Space.

If you were invited

If a teammate already invited you, open the invite link in your email:

  1. Sign in (or create an account).
  2. Accept the invitation to join their Space.
  3. You’re ready to start reviewing or editing.

Creating an account

  1. Visit the signup page: Navigate to /signup.
  2. Choose your method:
    • Email & Password: Enter your email and choose a secure password.
    • Google Sign-In: Use your existing Google account for faster sign-in.
  3. Verify (email only): Check your inbox for a verification link to activate your account.

Signing in with a passkey

If you’ve added a passkey to your account, you can skip the password entirely:

  • Click Sign in with a passkey on the Sign In page and confirm with Touch ID, Face ID, Windows Hello, or your security key.
  • On supported browsers, your passkey is also offered inline in the email field as you start to sign in — just pick it from the autofill prompt.

Add and manage passkeys from Account Settings → Security.

Form details

  • Required fields are marked with a red asterisk (*).
  • Password reveal. All password inputs include an eye icon at the right edge — click to show or hide what you’ve typed. The toggle is outside the keyboard tab order so a quick label → input → submit flow still works.
  • Inline email validation. The login, signup, and Forgot password forms validate email format inline and surface errors with screen-reader-friendly aria-live announcements.

Your First Space

After signing in for the first time, you’ll be guided through the Space Creation Wizard — a step-by-step flow that tailors Cuevue to your workflow.

The Wizard Steps

  1. Name your Space: Use your team, show, or client name (e.g., “Grumpaphone Productions”).
  2. Entity Types: Define what your “Projects” and “Tasks” are called — e.g., “Episodes” and “Segments” for podcasting, or “Scenes” and “Shots” for video. Each type can have its own icon.
  3. Workflow Stages: Create your production status pipeline with custom names and colors (e.g., “Recording”, “Editing”, “In Review”, “Published”).
  4. View Selection: Choose which Views to enable — List, Board, Timeline, Calendar, Agenda, Docs, and Canvas. You can always add or remove views later.
  5. Review & Create: Confirm your settings and create the Space.
