Review & Feedback

The Review flow is the heart of Cuevue. It replaces fragmented email threads and Slack messages with a single, frame-accurate source of truth for media feedback.

The Review Cycle#

A typical review workflow in Cuevue follows these steps:

1. Transcription: Automatically convert spoken audio to text to make review searchable and interactive.
2. Annotation: Play audio or video in the Review Player, scrub with timeline previews, and leave timestamped feedback.
3. Collaboration: Discuss changes with your team using threaded comments, emoji reactions, and tag-based mentions.
4. Approval: Mark versions as "Approved" or "Needs Changes" to signal readiness for the next stage.

Edit and Record#

Use Editing, Clips & Recording to cut and arrange media, work with multiple tracks, create clips, bounce a review mix, and recover an unfinished browser recording.

External stakeholders#

One of Cuevue's most powerful features is the ability to involve people who don't have an account:

• Sharing Links: Generate secure, public-facing links for clients or external partners.
• Exporting Feedback: Export all comments into human-readable or machine-readable formats for use in your DAW or NLE.
• Multi-Export: Export finished audio or video to multiple destinations simultaneously — Megaphone, YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Dropbox, and Google Drive — from a single wizard.
