Review & Feedback
The Review flow is the heart of Cuevue. It replaces fragmented email threads and Slack messages with a single, frame-accurate source of truth for media feedback.
The Review Cycle
A typical review workflow in Cuevue follows these steps:
- Transcription: Automatically convert spoken audio to text to make review searchable and interactive.
- Annotation: Play audio or video in the Review Player, scrub with timeline previews, and leave timestamped feedback.
- Collaboration: Discuss changes with your team using threaded comments, emoji reactions, and tag-based mentions.
- Approval: Mark versions as “Approved” or “Needs Changes” to signal readiness for the next stage.
External stakeholders
One of Cuevue’s most powerful features is the ability to involve people who don’t have an account:
- Sharing Links: Generate secure, public-facing links for clients or external partners.
- Exporting Feedback: Export all comments into human-readable or machine-readable formats for use in your DAW or NLE.
- Multi-Export: Export finished audio or video to multiple destinations simultaneously — Megaphone, YouTube, Dropbox, and Google Drive — from a single wizard.
[!NOTE] Cuevue supports both audio and video review. Audio review behavior and performance are unchanged by video-specific features.
